The choir is framed as a workshop and communion centered on the ontologic, and immanently transcending qualities of the voice as the sonorous intra-personal and ultimately trans-specieal instrument central to both subject formation and the reality of truly polymorf perversions of shamanic becomings. The choir center on a pragmatic minimalistic eclecticism utilizing methods of the fable, political agitation, daoist martial art qi gong, dance training and the norse native tradition of Sapmi Joik - the traditional technique of musicality practiced by the Sapmi people. Any existential and decolonial complexities of this working are left for the participants, the biosphere and art critics alike, to make best possible use of.

The choir was created for the group exhibition ‘Within the Scope of Activity‘ at Husby Konsthall in 2017. Musical scores and somatic protocols has atto various degrees been developed and worked out in collaboration with with Sapmi Noid/Shaman and musician extraordinary Laara Stinnerbom, and also in the last edition, the choir was  further backed up by musician Daniel Cabral De Queiroz.

TLC has, previously up till this date, been performed at:

  • Biologiska Museets Vänner , Eric Ericssonhallen 2019
  • Conjuring Creativity, Fylkingen, 2018
  • Occulture Festival, Berlin, 2018
