The Vetiver roots are traded in Port au Prince with a generous and dedicated support for local communities of Haitian herbalists, and vodouisants.
The Vetiver grass can be burnt as incense (ultimately on a red hot stove or pre-heated burner), used in talismanic compounds, or used as a talisman in itself.
